Mail Delivery
We the residents of south California are receiving no mail because of something we can t control in front of our mailbox. I ve asked the postman the reason why he did not drop mail into our box and his response was because the car was parked in front of it. There will be a lot of times when cars will be parked in front of our mailbox; many times we ve received no mail because of this. Especially this week Friday (07/18) and Sunday (07/20), we have not received mail that could be very important. We can t have any control over the person who parks in front of our mailbox whenever we are not available. I ask you to give attention to this matter.

Cul-de-sac woes
Why can't people get along, or at least stay out of each other's face? Living on a cul-de-sac is either a very good experience or a very bad one. Living on one can be enjoyable if all of the homes are in fact single family dwellings. Having three or four families living in a single home and on a cul-de-sac only increases the tension on all of the families concerned. This is especially so when a I-can-do-what-I-want-to attitude is added to the already unsteady conditions. On cul-de-sacs, parking is a premium for visitors. That is if the families use their garages for vehicles in stead of junk storage. You end up with cars parked every which way in the street and on the sidewalks. As if this isn't bad enough, add in the free running kids. When parents let their kids ruin yards and flower beds that their neighbors work to maintain, what's next?

Roadside dumping
What can be done about the road side dumping in the Fontana area? I've seen old furniture, pieces of wooden fence, TVs, tree limbs, and you name it. I've heard that some cities and rural areas have placed large dumpsters in certain areas to give people a place to put their large items and not on the road sides. It sure seems like this would be a lot cheaper than having a crew with equipment go around and pick it up. Why can't this work here?
